Our approach / Educators and experiments

The teaching
makes the difference.

A beautiful tool catches your attention. A good educator turns the experience into understanding. OYEE brings both to your room.

The person behind OYEE

Elias Tanbe.

Educator.
Learning designer.
Founder of OYEE.

More than fifteen years in education, with particular attention to how different people learn.

A program coordinator and graphic-design educator in Montréal adult education, Elias designs learning experiences that make complex ideas concrete. His work includes attention to neurodivergent communities.

He founded Inquisitive Flow, the family of educational projects that includes OYEE. Workshops are offered in French and English. Depending on the format and group, other educators may facilitate alongside him; they are introduced in the proposal.

Our method

Observe.
Experiment.
Understand.

  1. An experiment that raises a question.

Change the context of a prediction. Compare a summary with its source. Make a usually hidden mechanism visible.

  2. A discussion that exercises judgment.

Participants explain their choices. The educator tests reasoning against evidence, welcomes uncertainty and helps the group develop criteria.

  3. A connection to your day-to-day work.

We connect learning to your tasks and constraints. Free resources remain available after the workshop so you can keep practising.

Curiosity has no prerequisites

Every kind of mind.
Welcome here.

An experience can be spectacular and still give you space. That is the site we aim to build, and the conversation we open for every workshop.

Different ways to participate

Observe, experiment, write or discuss. Let’s talk about participation that works for your group.

Words that open doors

We explain the vocabulary. Questions are welcome. No technical experience is needed to begin.

Room to take your time

The lab has no timer or leaderboard. Explore, start again, take a break.
